CP Rail The perfect match

Designed specifically for railway applications, the CP Rail is optimized for fast, efficient tie tamping without damaging the ballast or the machine. The portable design also allows you to get in and out of the work area quickly, with no compressors, hoses or cables to worry about. It´s ideal for railway station applications such as tamping around switches and cables.

Ergonomic design

Vibration-reducing handles allow operators to work longer with less fatigue. Hand throttle also provides excellent control.

Optimized for rail

A tool that´s too powerful can destroy the ballast, while manual tamping takes time and is less effective. We have the right power, along with high blows per minute, which is ideal for tie tamping.

Quick start

Spring-loaded kill switch springs back into the starting position, so the tool is ready when you pull the cord on the recoil start.

Portable and efficient

The CP Rail weighs 22 kg, so a single operator can carry it on and off the tracks.

Service access
