Portable Dust Collection Systems

Portable Dust Collection Systems to conform with OSHA Directive 1926.1153 for Crystalline Silica containment.  These compressed air powered systems can be used with percussion tools, rock drills, saws or grinders that are powered by compressed air or electricity.  They are portable systems that have no moving parts, and therefore, minimal maintenance.  The HEPA filters have a 2 to 3 year life expectancy, can be easily cleaned with compressed air and can occasionally be washed.

Since these Dust Collection Systems do not use water as an aid in dust reduction, they can be used all year long and in all climates.  The systems are small and portable for use indoors or outdoors.  The collected dust and debris is not considered hazardous waste so it can be discarded with the trash.

In order to lessen the potential risk of exposure to airborne dust, filters and canisters are located a minimum of 30 feet from the operator via vacuum hoses or ducting.  When canisters require the dust and debris to be removed, that large plastic bags allow plenty of room to seal the dust prior to removal from the canister.

TX-DCS2 – Small, Single User, Portable Dust Collection System (2″) w/ 20 Gallon Canister

Small, Single User, Portable Dust Collection System (2″) to conform to OSHA Directive 1926.1153 for Crystalline Silica containment.  This compressed air powered system can be used with compressed air powered tools or electric tools.  It can be used with percussion tools, drills, saws or grinders, and it is designed to work with one tool at a time.  The unit requires approximately 40 cfm of compressed air at 90 psi (pressure required for most air tools to operate properly) to create the suction (vacuum) needed to draw the dust away from the work being performed.

This system comes with a HEPA Filter and Cyclonic Filter, a 25′ vacuum hose, a 10′ vacuum hose whip and a TX-2AM Mini Air Mover.  The TX-2AM Mini Air Mover is the vacuum.  This Mini Air Mover supplies the suction power needed to draw the dust away from the tool.  The 2″ Vacuum Hose can be adapted to any vacuum port on any tool.  Adapters sold separately.

3 Way, Multi-User, Portable Dust Collection System to conform with OSHA Directive 1926.1153 for Crystalline Silica containment.  This compressed air powered system can be used with compressed air powered tools or electric tools.  It can be used with percussion tools, drills, saws or grinders, and each line is designed to work with one tool at a time.  Each line requires approximately 40 cfm of compressed air (120 cfm total for all 3 lines) at 90 psi (pressure required for most air tools to operate properly) to create the suction (vacuum) needed to draw the dust away from the work being performed.  Only one line or all three lines can be used simultaneously.

The TX-DCS-MU3 comes with HEPA and Cyclonic Filters, 3 vacuum hoses (25′ each), 3 vacuum hose whips (5′ each) and 3 – TX-2AM Mini Air Movers.  The TX-2AM Mini Air Movers are the vacuums.  These Mini Air Movers supply the suction power needed to draw the dust away from the tool.  The 2″ Vacuum Hoses can be adapted to any vacuum port on any tool.  Adapters sold separately.

TX-DCS3 – Portable Dust Collection System (3″)

Portable Dust Collection System (3″) to conform with OSHA Directive 1926.1153 for Crystalline Silica containment.  This compressed air powered system can be used with compressed air powered tools or electric tools.  It can be used with percussion tools, drills, saws or grinders, and it is designed to work with one tool at a time.  The unit requires approximately 45 cfm of compressed air at 90 psi (pressure required for most air tools to operate properly) to create the suction (vacuum) needed to draw the dust away from the work being performed.  The large shroud on the inlet allows the tool to be unencumbered by a vacuum hose.  The shroud can be easily moved with the tool to keep the silica dust away from the user.

For Multi-Users, the optional TX-DCS-MU5-A attachment can be used with the system.  This attachment will allow up to 5 workers on one system.  The TX-DCS-MU5-A attachment comes with 5 vacuum hoses (25′ each), 5 vacuum hose whips (5′ each) and 5 – TX-2AM Mini Air Movers.  The TX-2AM Mini Air Movers are the vacuums.  These Mini Air Movers supply the suction power needed to draw the dust away from the tool.  The 2″ Vacuum Hose can be adapted to any vacuum port on any tool.  Adapters sold separately.

TX-DCS-MU5 – 5 Way, Multi-User, Portable Dust Collection System

5 Way, Multi-user, Portable Dust Collection System to conform to OSHA Directive 1926.1153 for Crystalline Silica containment.  This compressed air powered system can be used with compressed air powered tools or electric tools.  It can be used with percussion tools, drills, saws or grinders, and each line is designed to work with one tool at a time.  The unit requires approximately 245 cfm of compressed air at 90 psi (pressure required for most air tools to operate properly) to create the suction (vacuum) needed to draw the dust away from the work being performed.  This compressed air requirement is broken down as follows.  Each line uses a TX-2AM Mini Air Mover to create the suction (vacuum), and each Mini Air Mover uses approximately 40 cfm at 90 psi.  If all five lines are being used, then a total of 200 cfm is required.  All five vacuum lines merge into one shroud that is attached to a TX-3AM-P Air Mover.  This Air Mover is used to deliver the collected dust from all five vacuum lines to the filter, and it uses approximately 45 cfm of compressed air at 90 psi.

The TX-DCS-MU5 will allow up to 5 workers on one system.  The TX-DCS-MU5 comes with 5 vacuum hoses (25′ each), 5 vacuum hose whips (5′ each), 5 – TX-2AM Mini Air Movers, a HEPA Filter, a Cyclonic Filter, 30′ of 8″ Ducting and the rolling Cart.  The 2″ Vacuum Hose can be adapted to any vacuum port on any tool.  Adapters sold separately.
