Chain drives and mechanical linkages jerk, stall, and wear out. The DTR75 utilizes a fully hydrostatic drive system for both travel and vibration. This allows the operator to infinitely adjust the speed—crawling smoothly over fresh hot mix asphalt without leaving divots or ripples, or climbing steep grades (up to 40% without vibration) with total control.
